Lutech Engineering is a leading provider of Engineering and Design, Procurement and Construction services in the areas of Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Transport and Real Estate Infrastructure

Location – Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa

Job purpose : The General Manager – Operations (GM Ops) role is responsible for implementing daily operations

on the various project sites, aligned with the goal and strategy of the company. He is responsible for ensuring the

operations strategy is aligned to the business goals of profitability, safety and quality of project execution, ensuring time and cost efficiencies are well managed.

Job responsibilities

Overall responsibilities includes materials and manpower planning, project execution, value engineering, operations

manangement, enhancing quality and safety standards and practices, procurement, customer relationship

manangement on an ongoing basis.

Develop annual / periodic operations plan to implement the business strategy and advance the company's

mission and objectives and thereby promote revenue, profitability and growth of the company.

Policy/Decision Making: Decides on highly complex matters with high stakes, enterprise-wide business and

financial outcomes. Develop, establish,



and direct execution of operating policies and procedures to support

overall company policies and objectives.

3.

Collaborating with internal/external customers like the partner company, client, sub-contractors,

consultants, vendors and other external agencies.

4.

Demonstrate good business acumen, explicit understanding of how the businesses work and is knowledgeable

in current and possible future practices and trends.

5.

Contracts Management - Variations, Claims and Extensions.

6.

Develop project baselines, monitoring and controlling of projects with respect to cost, resource deployment,

time overruns, and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects. Drives operations and

meets target completion dates.

7.

Establish and monitor performance reporting systems i.e. track performance against goals, ensure site

managers provide quality regular quality reports, provide regular updates to the stakeholders. Reports

variations and deviations on the project execution periodically.

8.

Hire, train, motivate, direct, coach, evaluate and retain high performers in the organization.

9.

Take charge in high-priority crises situations.

10.

Work effectively with support functions – Finance, HR, Admin.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
