Minerva Public School is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to deliver high-quality education aligned with the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will foster strong language skills, critical thinking, and a love for literature among students, while maintaining high academic standards and discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Delivery

- Teach English Language and Literature as per the ICSE syllabus.
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons across assigned grades.
- Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and communication.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids aligned with ICSE guidelines.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Design and conduct regular assessments, tests, and assignments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report cards.

Classroom Management

- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage participation, creativity, and independent thinking.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively in line with school policies.

Co-curricular Contribution

- Organize and support literary activities such as debates, elocution, dramatics, and creative writing.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, and competitions.

Parent & School Engagement

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.




- Attend parent-teacher meetings and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and school initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in English (B.A. English) with B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Prior experience teaching ICSE curriculum preferred.
- Strong command of English language (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students across different age groups.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
