- OPD & Patient Management: Oversee patient flow to ensure minimal waiting times for eye tests, consultations, and procedures. Manage patient inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively.
- Staff Coordination: Supervise the front office, optometrists, eye counselors, and nursing staff. Assign daily duties, monitor performance, and enforce hospital SOPs.
- Doctor & Clinic Prep: Coordinate with ophthalmologists regarding daily patient loads and ensure examination rooms are fully stocked and ready.
- Workflow & Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the patient journey (e.g., waiting for dilation drops, vision testing, or billing) and implement operational improvements.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to medical ethics, patient privacy protocols, and overall facility cleanliness.
- Reporting: Maintain daily OPD statistics, track patient satisfaction metrics, and report operational issues to hospital administration.
