Job Summary

Fun-Learn Day Boarding School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) Teacher to join our academic team. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students, deliver engaging and concept-based lessons, and contribute to their academic and personal development in an English-medium learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics using interactive, activity-based, and student-centric teaching methodologies.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, practical demonstrations, assessments, and engaging learning materials.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct laboratory sessions for Physics and Chemistry while ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Evaluate student performance through regular tests, assignments, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for school examinations, competitive examinations, and academic projects where applicable.
- Foster curiosity, scientific temperament, and mathematical aptitude through classroom discussions and practical activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Participate in school events, meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and other academic activities.
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies and educational technology into classroom instruction.





Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidate from an English-medium school background (preferably Convent school).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools, smart classrooms, and educational technology effectively.

Salary & Benefits

- Starting Gross CTC: ₹30,000 per month.
- Provident Fund (PF) and Medical Benefits applicable after successful completion of the probation period.

Transportation Facility

Pick-and-drop transportation is available for candidates commuting from:

- South Kolkata (from Rashbehari)
- North Kolkata (from Esplanade)
