Position Summary
Amba Township Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a disciplined and technically sound RMC Plant Assistant to support the daily operational and production workflows of our on-site Ready-Mix Concrete batching plant. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Plant In-charge or Operator, assisting with raw material management, equipment maintenance, quality documentation, and dispatch logistics to ensure an uninterrupted supply of high-grade concrete across our township developments.

Core Responsibilities
- Inventory & Material Control: Monitor the receipt, verification, and structured unloading of vital raw materials including cement, aggregates, sand, fly ash, and chemical admixtures.
- Plant Maintenance & Hygiene: Execute routine preventive cleaning and basic upkeep of the batching unit, pan mixers, conveyor systems, and transit mixer loading chutes to prevent material build-up and mechanical downtime.
- Batching & Production Support: Assist the Plant Operator in monitoring weigh-batcher accuracy, adjusting aggregate moisture inputs, and manually introducing specialized additives into the mixing cycle when authorized.
- Quality Assurance Assistance: Support laboratory technicians in retrieving fresh concrete composite samples, conducting standard slump cone tests,
and casting/curing concrete test cubes for compressive strength verification.
- Logistics & Dispatch Management: Coordinate the orderly queuing, positioning, and loading of transit mixers; verify delivery tickets, and accurately log dispatch timestamps to ensure adherence to transit schedules.
- EHS Protocol Compliance: Maintain absolute adherence to plant environment, health, and safety regulations, ensuring a hazard-free work environment and the mandatory utilization of specialized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: ITI Certification (Mechanical / Electrical / Fitter), Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or a Higher Secondary certificate backed by extensive industrial plant experience.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of progressive, hands-on experience within a commercial RMC plant or large-scale construction site batching facility.
- Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with automatic batching plant operations, mechanical valves, hydraulic pumps, pneumatic lines, and digital weighing instrumentation.
- Competencies: Strong operational discipline, excellent physical stamina required for an industrial yard environment, and the multilingual capacity (Hindi and Gujarati) to interface effectively with site personnel and transit drivers.
