Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess students strengths and needs through observation, testing, and collaboration.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate various disabilities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction tailored to students abilities.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support inclusion and differentiated learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and career development.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of students with special needs.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.




- Certification or license in Special Education (as per local regulations).
- Experience working with students with disabilities such as autism, learning disabilities, or emotional challenges.
- Knowledge of educational strategies, therapies, and assistive technologies.
- Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, or occupational therapy.
- Experience with inclusive classroom settings.
- Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines in special education.
