The Role
The Social Media Manager owns the brand's voice and presence across every platform. You'll plan and execute the content calendar, manage day-to-day posting and community interaction, work with designers and creators to produce on-brand content, and track performance to keep every platform growing engaged, relevant reach.
What You'll Own
Content Strategy & Planning
Build and manage the monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
Plan content around product launches, seasonal moments, and brand campaigns.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across every post and platform.
Content Creation & Execution
Write captions, scripts, and post copy that speak to the target audience while staying true to brand tone.
Brief and coordinate with in-house designers, video editors, and external creators to produce on-brand content.
Plan and execute short-form video content (Reels, Shorts) to drive organic reach.
Community & Engagement
Manage day-to-day community interaction — comments, DMs, and reviews — maintaining a warm, responsive brand presence.
Monitor sentiment and flag emerging issues or trends early to the wider marketing team.
Build relationships with relevant online communities and micro-creators.
Influencer & Partnerships
Identify,
onboard, and manage influencer and creator collaborations aligned with brand positioning.
Track and report on influencer campaign performance — reach, engagement, conversions.
Analytics & Reporting
Track platform-level KPIs — followers, engagement rate, reach, video views, and social-driven traffic/sales.
Build monthly reporting on what's working and translate it into actionable content decisions.
A/B test formats, captions, and posting times to continuously improve performance.
Who You Are
2–5 years of experience managing social media for a D2C, e-commerce, FMCG, or consumer brand.
Proven track record of growing engagement and following organically, not just running paid campaigns.
Solid writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms while staying on-brand.
Experience working with influencers/creators, from outreach to campaign tracking.
Comfortable with content and scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar); basic analytics tools a plus.
Sharp eye for what makes content stop the scroll — visually and in copy.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple platforms and a busy content calendar without dropping the ball.
