Role Overview:
We are seeking high -calibre Company
Secretary (CS) trainees to join our Governance, Legal & Regulatory
practice. This role is designed to provide institutional -grade exposure to
corporate governance, cross -border compliance, legal advisory, and regulatory
frameworks across multiple jurisdictions including India, UK, US, UAE (Dubai),
and Singapore. The position offers a learning
setting with hands -on involvement in board -level processes, complex
transactions, and multi -jurisdictional compliance, enabling candidates to build
strong technical and commercial acumen early in their careers.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Prepare agendas, resolutions, minutes,
and governance documents.
· Maintain statutory registers and
ensure secretarial compliance.
· Support ROC filings, annual returns,
and Companies Act compliance.
· Monitor compliance trackers and
conduct regulatory gap assessments.
· Assist with FEMA, RBI, FDI, ODI, and
ECB compliance filings.
· Coordinate with AD Banks and support
cross -border regulatory requirements.
· Support compliance for overseas
entities across multiple jurisdictions.
· Draft and review NDAs, vendor,
service, employment, and commercial agreements.
· Assist in contract management and
legal risk assessment.
· Support HR compliance, labour law
requirements, and policy documentation.
· Assist in employee lifecycle
compliance and internal audits.
· Support CSR committee documentation,
reporting, and statutory compliance.
· Assist in implementing data privacy
frameworks and drafting privacy policies.
· Coordinate with external legal counsel
on litigation and regulatory matters.
· Prepare legal notices, submissions,
and regulatory responses.
· Support due diligence, fundraising
activities, and corporate restructuring projects.
· Contribute to strategic legal,
compliance, and governance initiatives.
Requirements
· CS Executive / Professional student (as per
ICSI training requirements)
· Strong interest in Corporate Law, Governance,
and Compliance
· Excellent drafting, analytical, and
communication skills
· Detail -oriented with strong organizational
abilities
· Proactive, eager
to learn, and committed to professional ethics
