This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Media, Broadcasting & Information Services Subject Matter Expert based in India.

This role offers an opportunity to apply deep expertise in media production, journalism, and broadcasting within a cutting-edge AI benchmarking initiative focused on Gujarati-language media environments. You will help design and evaluate realistic scenarios that reflect the fast-paced nature of newsrooms, digital platforms, and broadcast studios. The work spans editorial decision-making, content creation, audiovisual production, and live broadcasting workflows. You will ensure AI systems accurately understand how media content is created, reviewed, and delivered in real-world Indian contexts. Operating in a dynamic and content-driven environment, you will collaborate with global experts to improve the quality of AI understanding in journalism and media production. Your contributions will directly shape how AI interacts with editorial and creative workflows.

Accountabilities:

- Design realistic media and broadcasting scenarios in Gujarati or English based on Indian newsroom, production, and digital media contexts, including reporting, editing, live broadcasting, and content planning workflows.

- Adapt structured evaluation rubrics to assess editorial judgment, content quality, communication effectiveness, and production coordination tasks.

- Review AI-generated and human-generated outputs for factual accuracy, editorial integrity, cultural relevance, and operational realism.





- Contribute to the development of “gold standard” reference solutions aligned with best practices in journalism, broadcasting, publishing, and digital media production.

- Ensure scenarios accurately reflect newsroom operations, broadcast standards, and audience engagement practices in Indian media environments.

Requirements:

- Native-level proficiency in Gujarati with strong professional proficiency in English.

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in media, broadcasting, journalism, content production, publishing, or audiovisual operations.

- Background in roles such as journalism, news reporting, video editing, audio/video production, broadcast operations, content direction, or media management.

- Strong understanding of editorial workflows, production cycles, media standards, and audience communication strategies.

- Ability to translate real-world media and broadcasting experience into structured, evaluative, and scenario-based content.

- Strong attention to detail, editorial judgment, and understanding of cultural and content sensitivity.
