This role is responsible for designing, developing, optimising and supporting ETL solutions in large-scale data processing environments, with a strong focus on performance, reliability and production stability.nn## What youu2019ll donn * Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio tools including GDE, EME and the Cou003eOperating Systemn * Build, optimise and support data ingestion, transformation and extraction pipelinesn * Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, scheduling and monitoringn * Develop, optimise and tune SQL queries and data models within Teradata environmentsn * Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting for ETL jobs and database queriesn * Collaborate with operations, infrastructure and business teams to support production issues and deliver enhancementsn * Follow best practices related to data quality, security,



governance and compliancen * Provide support during releases, incident resolution and root cause analysisn * Create and maintain technical documentation covering designs, workflows and operational proceduresnnnn## Who you arenn * You have strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL developmentn * You demonstrate positive proficiency in Unix/Linux commands and shell scriptingn * You bring solid experience in Teradata SQL, performance tuning and utilitiesn * You have a clear understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practicesn * You have experience working in production support environments with incident managementn * You possess basic working knowledge of GCP services such as Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery and Compute Enginen * Exposure to cloud migration or hybrid data platforms is an advantagen * Familiarity with scheduling tools (such as Autosys or Controlu2011M) and Agile/Scrum ways of working is preferredn * You bring 4u20138 years of relevant experience, aligned to a Deputy Manager band rolennnn## Not a perfect fit?nnConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
