Position Title Production Assistant Department Production Manufacturing Reports To Production Manager Job Purpose To support the Production Manager in executing daily production activities by ensuring real-time monitoring resolving floor-level issues coordinating interdepartmental operations and driving efficiency through production improvement initiatives across all key production processes Key Responsibilities 1 Daily Production Execution Implement daily and weekly production plans in coordination with the Planning PPC team Monitor shift-wise and hourly output to ensure adherence to production targets Ensure timely start continuity and completion of operations in all functional areas 2 Process Coordination Support Serve as the operational link between Production Manager and Floor Supervisors Coordinate with Stores Maintenance and Quality to ensure input material and support availability Troubleshoot on-floor issues and escalate critical deviations promptly 3 Data Handling Reporting Track real-time production and update visual boards dashboards Collect and validate data from supervisors and line leaders Prepare and submit shift-end and daily performance reports with variance analysis 4 Efficiency Improvement Initiatives Identify bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency using data and observations Support production improvement initiatives Recommend workflow layout enhancements for increased throughput 5 Compliance Shop Floor Discipline Enforce adherence to SOPs safety standards and quality norms Promote floor cleanliness organization and operator discipline using 5S Train and support operators and line leaders on process and performance standards Qualifications Skills B E B Tech Diploma in Mechanical Industrial Textile or Production Engineering 0-2 years of experience in garment apparel manufacturing or high-volume production Excellent coordination and analytical skills Proficiency in ERP Excel Google Sheets for data handling and reporting Key Competencies Floor-focused and proactive problem solver Effective communicator and team collaborator Process-oriented with attention to detail Resilient under pressure and deadline-driven Robust time management and prioritization abilities Ability to interpret production data and act on insights Hands-on approach with a willingness to work closely with operators and supervisors Adept at using digital tools ERP Excel Google Sheets dashboards or MIS systems Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Provident Fund Application Question s Do you have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Industrial Textile or Production Engineering Have you worked in a role where you monitored daily or hourly production output Are you skilled in using Excel or Google Sheets for data handling and reporting Experience Manufacturing 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
