Requirement Details Job Summary We are seeking a highly accomplished and dynamic leader to develop set up lead and shape our Offshore Development Centre ODC in India This strategic leadership role will be responsible for defining and executing the technology vision for the ODC ensuring alignment with the business objectives driving innovation and delivering high-quality scalable ODC set up The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building from scratch leading and mentoring large high-performing teams in an offshore model fostering a culture of excellence and managing successful delivery for diverse ODC projects This role is to set up and scale ODCs for our customers from US EU UK and NOT a captive ODC Key Responsibilities Accelerate our ODCs business vertical with superlative customer experience and excellent long term customer relationship management Research and mine our large customer base to initiate new ODC proposals convert the same into business opportunities execute the same with excellence Identify and work with Sales and Marketing teams and other senior stakeholders to generate ODC opportunities from the market End-to-end responsibility for delivery always at or above customer and stakeholder expectations this includes understanding of the customer expectations of their technology needs timelines hiring building and integrating teams transitioning work from customer sites providing cutting edge solutions to solve customer-market challenges - all with deep sense of commercial acumen End-to-end responsibility for the technology team management to ensure customers and organization s goals are met or exceeded Any other goals as required by the company from time to time Skills and Track-Record Required 12 years of progressive experience in third party ODC GCC environment with leading software analytics KPO organizations with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role in developing from scratch and overseeing the business of an Offshore Development Centre - right from proposal to transition to implementation and scale-up stages Deep hands-on proven digital transformation work covering Information Data Science AI tools products analytics databases and services across Scientific Scholarly Publishing STEM science technology engineering and medical and pharmaceutical data science information analytics track record Experts from other domains like BFSI EdTech Business Analytics etc are welcome to explore the opportunity Should have successfully handled client facing leadership responsibilities with clients from US UK and or Europe Direct customer site leadership experience and end-to-end team management experience will be given due weightage Successful transitioning experience of al-least few mid to large sized software KPO analytics projects is required Demonstrated mid-to-senior level experience in mid-to-large AI-ML driven IT services organization KPOs Analytics businesses who have independently managed team sizes ranging from 100-200 and upwards starting from the drawing board Excellent oral written and presentation skills with the required level of polish to deal with senior stakeholders within the company and at customers end Ability and willingness to work hands-on work hard work long independently and able to handle business pressures for the benefit of the organization Sincere commitment to the professional career and the energy to work towards the company s growth objectives Hands work in some or more technology domains Advanced data science Big Data analytics AI ML based cloud agnostic cloud computing rapid visualization large data modelling data lakes smart data validation frameworks LLMs and domain specific language models and knowledge graphs Direct experience across cloud-native and OS-agnostic frameworks ensuring solutions are digitally agile scalable and easily integrated into any enterprise environment relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases Elasticsearch Java Python and C Fully life application development delivery and management is essential Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Engineering Technology Business Administration Operations Management Information Technology or a related field Master s degree e g MBA Operations Management is highly preferred Certifications in Lean Six Sigma PMP or other relevant software operations project management methodologies will be a plus What We Offer A critical and highly visible leadership role with direct impact on business success Opportunity to develop lead and shape the operational strategy of an ODC A collaborative agile and challenging work environment Competitive compensation package with perks depending on experience and skills Qualification s
