- Safety Officer Company Ferromonk Steel Structures Pvt Ltd Location Nagpur Department Safety EHS Industry PEB Steel Structures Construction Manufacturing Position Overview The Safety Officer at Ferromonk Steel Structures Pvt Ltd is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work setting across fabrication units project sites and offices The role focuses on implementing safety standards preventing accidents and ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and company safety protocols Key Responsibilities1 Safety Compliance Regulations Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations Factory Act OSHA IS Codes Environmental norms etc Conduct routine inspections and safety audits at fabrication plants and project sites in and around Nagpur Maintain statutory safety records permits licenses and safety documentation 2 Risk Assessment Hazard Management Identify workplace hazards and perform Job Safety Analysis JSA and Risk Assessments Recommend corrective and preventive measures to reduce risks Monitor implementation and effectiveness of safety controls 3 Training Safety Awareness Conduct safety induction for new employees and workers Lead toolbox talks safety drills and regular training programs Promote a strong safety culture through awareness activities 4 Incident Reporting Investigation Document and investigate all accidents incidents and near-misses Conduct root cause analysis RCA and propose preventive action plans Maintain incident logs and prepare monthly EHS performance reports 5 PPE Safety Equipment Management Ensure availability and proper usage of personal protective equipment PPE Conduct routine checks of safety tools fire-fighting equipment and emergency systems Ensure proper safety signage barricading and workplace discipline at all job sites 6 Coordination Communication Coordinate with Project Managers Site Engineers HR and Contractors on safety-related matters Ensure contractor compliance with Ferromonk safety standards Assist during internal and external audits inspections and compliance reviews Qualifications Requirements Diploma Degree in Engineering or Industrial Safety Additional certifications such as NEBOSH IOSH ADIS preferred 2-5 years of relevant experience in PEB steel fabrication or construction safety Strong knowledge of EHS norms hazard control and industrial safety practices Excellent communication and report-writing abilities Key Skills Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Incident Investigation RCA Safety Training Awareness Compliance Documentation PPE Management Leadership Interpersonal Skills Working Conditions Frequent visits to fabrication units warehouses and project construction sites in Nagpur and nearby regions Work may involve outdoor and industrial environments requiring strict PPE usage Job Type Full-time Pay 10 669 71 - 47 063 78 per month Benefits Provident Fund Application Question s How many years of experience do you have in safety What is your current salary What is your expected salary Are you ready to join immediately Work Location In person
