Country Region IN Requisition ID 30030 Work Model Position Type Salary Range Location INDIA - PUNE - BIRLASOFT OFFICE - HINJAWADI Title Technical Lead-Enterprise Apps Description Area s of responsibility About the job Birlasoft a part of the CKA Birla Group is a leading provider of domain expertise enterprise solutions and digital technologies to redefine business processes With a consultative and design thinking approach we enable our customers to run businesses with unmatched efficiency and innovation Our core values focus on Diversity Equity and Inclusion DEI initiatives along with Corporate Social Responsibility CSR activities to build inclusive and sustainable communities Oracle VBCS Technical Consultant 8-10 Years Experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service VBCS Technical Consultant with 8-10 years of IT experience including solid expertise in Oracle VBCS OIC SaaS ERP Cloud integrations and JavaScript SQL PLSQL development The consultant will be responsible for designing developing and deploying scalable VBCS applications custom extensions for Oracle Fusion Cloud and end-to-end integration solutions This role requires strong problem-solving skills technical leadership and the ability to collaborate with business and functional teams Key Responsibilities Design develop and implement VBCS applications and extensions to Oracle Fusion SaaS modules ERP HCM SCM etc Build and maintain custom web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCS JavaScript HTML5 and REST SOAP services Develop integrations between VBCS OIC and Oracle SaaS applications Work on process automation UI customizations and extensions to meet business requirements Optimize application performance security and maintainability following Oracle best practices Collaborate with functional consultants architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Provide technical leadership mentor junior developers and ensure quality deliverables Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VBCS applications integrations and SaaS customizations Manage code versioning deployment automation and DevOps practices using Oracle Developer Cloud GitHub Prepare technical documentation design specifications and knowledge-transfer materials Required Skills Experience 8-10 years of IT experience with strong background in Oracle development and cloud technologies Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle VBCS designing and developing custom applications and SaaS extensions Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud OIC REST SOAP APIs ORDS and web services Proficiency in JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 SQL PLSQL and Java Experience working with Oracle SaaS ERP HCM SCM - understanding of data models extensions and integration points Knowledge of application security authentication OAuth SAML and role-based access control Experience in Agile methodology CI CD pipelines and DevOps tools ODCS GitHub Jenkins Strong problem-solving debugging and performance optimization skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in client-facing roles and lead discussions Preferred Qualifications Oracle Cloud certifications VBCS OIC or Fusion SaaS Experience with BIP OTBI reports APEX or OAF is an added advantage Exposure to AI ML or chatbot integrations with VBCS will be a plus
