We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Transcriptionist to convert audio recordings from healthcare professionals into accurate written medical documents The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills excellent grammar and a solid understanding of medical terminology to ensure patient records are exact complete and compliant with healthcare regulations Transcribe dictated medical reports including histories physical examinations operative reports discharge summaries and clinic notes Review and edit transcribed documents for accuracy clarity grammar and consistency Ensure correct use of medical terminology abbreviations and formatting Proofread documents to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations Follow turnaround time requirements and productivity standards Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify unclear dictations when necessary Update and maintain patient records in electronic health record EHR systems Diploma or equivalent Associate s degree or certification in Medical Transcription preferred Minimum 1 year experience as a medical transcriptionist or in a similar role Female candidate Preferred Preferred Candidates from Trivandrum Location Job Types Full-time Permanent Education Diploma Preferred Experience Medical Transcriptionist 1 year Preferred Hospital 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
