The driving force behind our success has always been the people of AspenTech What drives us is our aspiration our desire and ambition to keep pushing the envelope overcoming any hurdle challenging the status quo to continually find a better way You will experience these qualities of passion pride and aspiration in many ways from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community The Role Our team is looking for a data steward to be responsible for maintaining and creating customer and product-related data content in accordance with established guidelines within various systems In this hands-on role you will be a critical member of our Master Data Management team responsible for supporting the data quality strategy and accountable for ensuring data integrity through data governance You will need strong cross-functional skills as this role requires communication and partnerships with various internal groups including but not limited to Marketing Sales Sales Operations Customer Support and Training Finance Legal and Information Technology Your ImpactContribute to on-going data governance and cleansing and maintenance of customer customer hierarchy contact and product data by driving data entry standards for formatting completeness and accuracy for attributes within the customer and product master Execute data scrubbing and data transformation through data cleansing exercising resulting in enriched accurate complete and current data sets Provide day-to-day support to cross-functional internal and external customers as related to customer accounts which include legal entities locations and contacts data elements and attributes Responsible for ongoing data quality initiatives such as research match merging and various aspects of data cleansing to remediate issues identified Actively participate in team objectives What You ll NeedBA BS degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of work experience Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically Exceptional communication skills Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple task completions timely and effectively Must be able to work in a constantly changing setting and adapt easily Commitment to quality processes and outcomes Team player with a positive attitude Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Excel Word Outlook and Teams Experience using Oracle and Salesforce desired Previous experience in Master Data Management MDM or Data Steward role a plus LI-RR1
