Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a WordPress Developer. The WordPress Developer will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including theme and plugin configuration, custom templates, and performance optimization.

Daily tasks include implementing responsive designs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, integrating third-party tools and APIs, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with designers and consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, maintaining website security and updates, and optimizing sites for speed, accessibility, and SEO.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design.
- Candidates should possess solid Web Design skills, with experience in creating user-friendly interfaces and working with design systems or UI frameworks.
- Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills relevant to WordPress, such as PHP, MySQL, and REST API integration.
- Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills, including WordPress theme and plugin development, site configuration, and performance optimization.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and security hardening for WordPress sites.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses or technology consulting projects is beneficial.
