Job Summary

Femcare Fertility is looking for an experienced senior nursing staff member to join our IVF centre in Baner, Pune. The ideal candidate should have experience in IVF, obstetrics & gynaecology, OT assistance, and fertility treatments. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, assisting consultants during fertility procedures, maintaining clinical documentation, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to infertility, gynaecology, and obstetric patients.
- Assist doctors during IVF, IUI, Ovum Pick-Up (OPU), Embryo Transfer (ET), hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and other fertility procedures.
- Prepare patients before procedures and provide post-procedure nursing care.
- Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, hormone injections, and treatments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain accurate nursing records.
- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre (OT) while ensuring sterile techniques are followed.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and clinical quality standards.
- Coordinate effectively with IVF consultants, embryologists, anaesthetists, laboratory, pharmacy, and front-office teams.
- Educate and counsel patients regarding medications, treatment plans, follow-up visits, and post-procedure care.




- Maintain inventory of nursing supplies and coordinate with the pharmacy for stock availability.
- Guide and supervise junior nursing staff and support departmental training initiatives.
- Handle emergency situations efficiently and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.

Qualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
- Valid Nursing Council Registration (RN/RM)

Experience Required
- 2 TO 4 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in an IVF centre, fertility clinic, gynaecology hospital, or women's healthcare facility is preferred.
- Prior exposure to OT nursing and fertility procedures will be an added advantage.
