Role Description The Virtual Reality Designer will design, develop, and refine immersive VR experiences that support Skillnet Learning’s Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing training programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing interactive learning environments, creating 3D assets, building user flows, and collaborating with subject matter experts to translate complex industrial processes into engaging simulations.

The role involves testing and optimizing VR applications for usability, performance, and accessibility, as well as maintaining documentation and aligning designs with educational objectives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mohali district,



requiring close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and learners.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Virtual Reality (VR) design and development, including experience with VR platforms and tools.
- Hands-on experience with Augmented Reality (AR) concepts and applications for interactive learning or simulation.
- Ability to use Blender or similar 3D modeling tools to create and optimize assets for real-time environments.
- Skills in Game Design, including interaction design, storytelling, and user experience principles for immersive applications.
- Experience in Game Development, including working with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) to build and deploy interactive content.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Game Development, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing concepts, or willingness to learn rapidly in these domains.
- Solid collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating VR/AR or interactive 3D projects, preferably with educational, training, or simulation components.
