Job Title: Vice President Contract Logistics

Job Summary

- The Vice President Contract Logistics is responsible for leading and growing the company's contract logistics business, including warehousing, transportation, distribution, inventory management, and value-added services. The role focuses on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, business development, profitability, and strategic expansion across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end contract logistics operations across warehouses and distribution centres.
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.

- Manage P&L;, budgets, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure achievement of customer SLAs, KPIs, and operational excellence.
- Oversee warehouse, transportation, inventory, and distribution operations.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and 3PL partners.




- Lead contract negotiations, customer on boarding, and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, statutory, and customer requirements.

- Develop and mentor regional operations and functional teams.
- Monitor performance through MIS, dashboards, and regular business reviews.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering.

- MBA or PGDM preferred.
- 15–20 years of experience in contract logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or 3PL operations, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, WMS, TMS, ERP
