Role: Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (SSE) to join our team based out of Vile Parle, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python and Django, a solid understanding of solution design, and basic proficiency in React. This role involves working from a government office location, requiring a professional and disciplined approach to work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend applications using Python and Django.
- Lead and contribute to solution design and architecture discussions for new and existing features.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Work on React-based frontend components and collaborate with the UI team where required.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.




- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in production environments.
- Ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements within defined project timelines.
- Coordinate with government stakeholders and ensure compliance with project requirements and documentation standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

- 35 years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
- Proven experience in Solution Design / System Architecture ability to design scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Basic knowledge of React.js ability to understand and contribute to frontend components.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Strong understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Willingness to work from office 5 days a week from the government office premises in Vile Parle, Mumbai.

Valuable to Have:

- Prior experience working on government or public sector projects.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
