Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum: Deliver lectures, seminars, and design studios to undergraduate and/or graduate students.
Prepare and update course syllabi, content, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance and supervise student projects, including capstone design or thesis work.
Mentor students and serve as an academic advisor.
Research & Scholarly Activity: Conduct original research and/or engage in creative skilled practice in their area of expertise.
Publish findings in peer-reviewed academic journals and present at conferences.
Pursue external funding and contribute to the institution's research output.
Service: Serve on academic and departmental committees.
Participate in faculty and departmental meetings.
Contribute to departmental administration and support academic leaders.
Collaborate with industry stakeholders to develop curriculum and provide internship/placement opportunities for students.
Key Qualities & Qualifications
Qualification: Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture (Full Time)
Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in architectural design, theory, history, or other relevant areas.
Skilled Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing professional work and/or scholarly projects.
Teaching Materials: Examples of course materials, such as a syllabus or assignment.
Research Output: Evidence of a strong publication record and a potential for continued research.
Mentorship: A commitment to advising and mentoring students.
Collaboration: An ability to foster positive and cooperative relationships with colleagues and students.
