Values - Excellence, Compassion, Open-Mindedness, Mutual Respect, Ownership, Integrity and Belongingness Contract Position – Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Terraform/IaC) Duration: 6–12 Months (Contract) Location: India Experience: 5 + Years Position Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Azure Infrastructure Engineer with strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience to support our Azure Platform Engineering team. This role is highly technical and execution focused. The engineer will work closely with our platform team to modernize Azure infrastructure, expand Terraform adoption, and support day-to-day Azure platform operations.

We are specifically looking for someone with recent, hands-on experience working in Microsoft Azure environments.

Required Experience 5+ years of recent hands-on experience working primarily in Microsoft Azure.



Current or recent project experience focused on Azure infrastructure engineering. Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure infrastructure. Strong understanding of Azure networking and core Azure services.

Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps YAML-based CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting skills using Azure CLI and PowerShell.

Technical Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Build reusable, modular Terraform components following engineering best practices. Support migration of Azure infrastructure from ARM Templates to Terraform (prior migration experience is preferred but not mandatory). Build and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for infrastructure deployment.

Troubleshoot

Azure infrastructure issues across networking, connectivity, performance, and deployment. Support platform services including (but not limited to): Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps, App Service Plans, Azure SQL and related Azure data services Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, DNS, Load Balancing, and other networking components Work closely with application teams to provision, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure. Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives that improve consistency, automation, and long-term maintainability.

Help implement infrastructure patterns that support cost optimization through automated provisioning, scaling,



and environment lifecycle management.

Preferred Skills: Experience migrating Azure ARM Templates to Terraform.

Experience designing reusable Terraform modules. Familiarity with Azure governance, security, and networking best practices.

Experience working in enterprise Azure Platform Engineering teams.

Expectations: The ideal candidate is an engineer who enjoys building and solving problems rather than simply maintaining existing environments. Deliver high-quality, production-ready infrastructure code. Follow engineering standards and coding best practices.

Work independently while collaborating effectively with the platform team. Document key designs, implementation decisions, and deployment processes in Confluence or similar documentation platforms. Actively participate in knowledge sharing and ensure smooth handover of work throughout the engagement.

Communicate proactively, ask questions when needed, and contribute positively to the team’s engineering culture.
