Role Overview

Own installation quality and progress oversight within an assigned zone. The actual PV system installation is carried out by a vendor approved by the Admin & Finance team; the Installation Technician monitors that work closely — through periodic site visits, drone/video/photo/text data collection, and final handover testing — rather than performing the installation directly.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor installation work carried out by the Admin & Finance-approved vendor for each project in the assigned zone
- Visit installation sites on a periodic basis to track progress and verify the vendor's work quality
- Collect ongoing installation data via drone footage, videos, photos, and written updates from the vendor
- Maintain an up-to-date record of installation progress and flag any deviation from the Design Engineer's specifications
- Coordinate directly with the vendor on schedule, quality, and safety issues during installation
- Conduct final handover tests once installation is complete, together with the BDM, BDR,



and Sales Director
- Escalate quality or delay issues to the Installation Lead and Civil Engineer as needed

Requirements

- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering
- Prior experience in Solar installation supervision, quality inspection, or vendor management for electrical/solar projects preferred
- Comfortable with regular site visits and using drone/photo/video documentation tools
- Working knowledge of electrical safety and installation standards, sufficient to assess vendor work quality
- Willingness to travel within the assigned zone on a periodic site-visit schedule

Positive to Have

- Prior experience overseeing third-party/vendor installation teams
- Familiarity with drone-based site documentation
