The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of cosmetics, personal care, beauty accessories, regulatory compliance, formulation concepts, packaging development. The role requires a commercially driven qualified who can identify market opportunities, develop profitable product assortments, and build strong supplier partnerships to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute merchandising strategies for the Health, Beauty & Cosmetics category (US market).
- Source innovative HBC products aligned with customer requirements and market trends.
- Develop new suppliers and manufacturers across beauty, cosmetics, skincare, personal care, wellness, and OTC categories.




- Identify new product opportunities through market research and trend analysis.
- Coordinate product development from concept to commercialization.
- Evaluate packaging options, formulations, fragrances, and product positioning.
- Lead product development from concept to commercialization.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure competitive costing while maintaining quality, compliance, and delivery standards.
- Possess strong understanding of cosmetic regulations across global markets, including US FDA.
- Monitor global market trends, emerging ingredients, packaging technologies, and sustainability initiatives within the HBC industry.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and production timelines.
- Ensure suppliers meet customer quality and ethical compliance requirements.
- Experience in retail or pharmaceutical companies is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience

- 1012 years of merchandising, sourcing, or product development experience.
- Minimum 7–9 years of experience in the Health, Beauty & Cosmetics category.
- Strong experience working with buying houses, international retailers, sourcing offices, importers, exporters, or cosmetic manufacturers.
