Job Summary

The main purpose of the Production Trainee is responsible for supporting the Rusk In-Charge in overseeing all operations related to the production of Rusk. Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and managing daily Rusk production schedules.

- Monitor the Rusk baking and toasting processes to ensure product consistency and quality.

- Inspect finished Rusk for quality, presentation and consistency before dispatch. Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process and finished products.

- Ensure raw materials and ingredients are available in adequate quantities for production.

- Supervise workers involved in the Rusk production line, ensuring adherence to SOPs.

- Support in training new staff under the Rusk production section.





- Report equipment issues or downtime to the maintenance team promptly. Maintain production records and assist in inventory management.

Education and Experience

Diploma in Baking or any certification in Food Technology.

Skills / Behavioral Competencies

- Excellent Coordination and communication skills to ensure smooth operation in production.

- Robust knowledge of baking techniques, equipment

- Good report writing skill.

- Ability to monitor production targets.

- Ability to minimize material wastage.

- Strong knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures.

- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
