Your Tasks

- Using chemical, electrochemical and mechanical process to prepare customer supplied product for diamond adhesion

- Operating CVD diamond coating equipment to diamond coat a variety of products

- Operating ancillary equipment to post process the diamond coated product for improved function and appearance

- Maintaining the work area in accordance with lab cleanliness and safety standards

- Performing equipment total preventive maintenance (TPM), troubleshooting / repairs, implementing corrective actions to root causes and giving improvement recommendations for the overall of safety and performance of process equipment and the manufacturing systems

- Inspect incoming, in process and outgoing product. To follow and improve the inspection process that will meet/exceed customer requirements and improve in house scrap

- Implementation into the production environment of processes developed by Process Engineering and R&D;

Your Profile

- High school diploma or GED

- Curiosity and a willingness to learn





- Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and basic problem-solving techniques

- Ideally 3 – 5 years of experience in a high technology chemical or coating process manufacturing environment. Knowledge of thin film coatings and/or CVD/PVD processes desirable. Previous work in a cleanroom setting is a plus

- Basic understanding of safety, health, and environmental practices

- Experience following quality control procedures and meeting production standards

- Good written and verbal communication

- Working knowledge of software programs and computers

- High quality awareness

- Ability to work multiple shifts
