Role Description The Production Supervisor CNC/VMC is a full time, on-site position based in Lonavala. This role oversees daily CNC and VMC production activities, ensuring planned jobs are executed as per schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements. The supervisor coordinates machine loading, monitors production output, and manages shift-wise workflows to meet delivery timelines.

Responsibilities include guiding operators, resolving shop-floor issues, maintaining equipment utilization,



and driving continuous improvement initiatives in processes and productivity. The role also involves preparing basic production reports, supporting root-cause analysis for defects, and collaborating with quality and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

Ability to demonstrate strong supervisory skills, including team guidance, task delegation, and performance monitoring.

Capability to manage production schedules and align day-to-day CNC/VMC activities with delivery commitments.

Experience in production planning and coordinating resources, materials, and machine availability.

Effective communication skills for clear instructions to operators and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in production management practices, including basic reporting, process adherence, and continuous improvement.

Hands-on experience with CNC/VMC machining operations, programming, setting, tooling, and interpreting technical drawings.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems, workplace safety, and 5S or similar shop-floor practices.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related discipline, with prior supervisory experience in a machining environment preferred.
