We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead end-to-end production operations, ensuring on-time delivery, superior product quality, buyer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement while maintaining compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end garment production, including cutting, stitching, finishing, packing, and shipment readiness.
- Develop and execute production plans in line with buyer delivery schedules and order priorities.
- Coordinate closely with merchandising, sourcing, planning, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Handle communication with international buyers regarding production status, capacity planning, quality updates, and shipment commitments.
- Review Time and Action (T&A;) calendars and monitor the critical production path to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining buyer quality standards and delivery commitments.
- Lead line planning, line balancing, and capacity utilization to maximize productivity and minimize production losses.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S,



and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, DHU (Defects per Hundred Units), WIP (Work in Progress), and overall factory performance.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure inline, end-line, and final inspections meet buyer specifications and AQL standards.
- Resolve production, quality, and technical issues proactively to prevent shipment delays.
- Ensure factories comply with buyer requirements, including social, ethical, environmental, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate buyer visits, factory audits, compliance audits, and third-party inspections.
- Monitor inventory availability of fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials to prevent production interruptions.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Prepare daily production reports, efficiency reports, shipment status reports, and management dashboards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise production supervisors, line leaders, and operators to improve performance and productivity.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through process improvements, waste reduction, and better resource utilization.




- Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, buyer requirements, and export house standards.

Requirements

- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in garment production, preferably in an export house or apparel manufacturing organization.
- Proven experience in managing woven, knitted, or denim garment production for international buyers.
- Robust knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, production planning, industrial engineering, line balancing, and capacity planning.
- Hands-on experience in buyer handling, production follow-up, quality management, and shipment coordination.
- Sound knowledge of AQL standards, garment construction, quality systems, and buyer compliance requirements.
- Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma principles, or other productivity improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with social compliance standards such as BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, and buyer audit requirements.
- Strong understanding of factory KPIs, including efficiency, DHU, WIP, absenteeism, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, production planning software, and MIS reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple production lines and high-volume export orders under strict timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, Fashion Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
