Production Manager – Acoustic Manufacturing

Location: Palani, Tamil Nadu, India

Salary: ₹50,000 per month About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations for acoustic panels, soundproofing systems, and related products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining high quality standards, ensuring timely deliveries, and leading a high-performing production team. Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to ensure on-time delivery of acoustic panels, soundproofing systems, and related products.

Develop and manage production schedules based on customer orders, project timelines, and manufacturing capacity.

Monitor production efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization to achieve operational targets.

Ensure adherence to quality standards, product specifications, and customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize defects, rework, and material wastage.

Lead, supervise, and motivate production teams, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.

Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Design, and Project teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability and smooth workflow.

Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Analyze production data and prepare reports on output, productivity, quality, costs, and improvement initiatives.





Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement through Lean Manufacturing practices.

Control production costs, labor utilization, and inventory levels while maintaining product quality and delivery commitments.

Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to improve technical skills, performance, and operational discipline.

Resolve production bottlenecks, operational issues, and customer quality concerns promptly.

Support management in achieving business objectives through effective planning, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

5–10+ years of production/manufacturing experience, preferably in acoustic products, interior products, construction materials, fabrication, or related manufacturing industries.

Strong knowledge of production planning, quality management systems, inventory control, manufacturing processes, and safety standards.

Proven leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and production reporting tools.

Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives will be an added advantage. Compensation
