Qualification

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering (Mandatory)

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience : 2-3 Years Job Summary :

We are looking for a Production Coordinator Engineer to coordinate and monitor day-to-day production activities, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations, timely completion of production schedules, and on-time dispatch. The candidate should have experience in production planning, shop floor coordination, and cross-functional team coordination in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved. Prepare and monitor production schedules based on customer requirements.

Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Production, and Dispatch departments.

Ensure availability of raw materials, components, drawings, and production documents before starting production.

Supervise shop floor activities and monitor fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing processes.

Allocate work to production staff and monitor productivity.

Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and ensure timely completion of work orders.

Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, BOM, and quality standards.

Coordinate in-process and final inspections with the Quality team.





Monitor material usage and minimize production wastage.

Maintain daily production reports, machine utilization reports, and MIS reports.

Resolve production-related issues by coordinating with internal departments.

Ensure implementation of 5S, safety practices, and continuous improvement activities.

Coordinate with the Dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of finished products.

Required Skills

Knowledge of production planning and shop floor operations.

Good understanding of fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to read engineering drawings and BOM.

Strong coordination, planning, and follow-up skills.

Valuable communication and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP software.
