Job Title: Product Owner – Banking Domain (API Experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a large-scale banking and financial services programme. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology teams to drive product delivery, manage priorities, and ensure successful business outcomes, with a strong focus on API-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and product deliverables
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology teams to define and deliver API and product solutions
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and Agile ceremonies
- Define customer journeys, business processes, and product priorities
- Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges




- Support end-to-end product delivery, testing, and business validation activities
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products within agreed timelines

Required Experience:

- 5–7 years minimum experience working as a Product Owner within large enterprise environments
- Strong experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and Agile delivery teams
- Experience working with API-based products and integrations within the banking domain
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working closely with both business and technology teams
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product management practices
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools

Preferred Experience:

- Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated environments
- Experience delivering digital transformation or business change initiatives
- Experience defining customer journeys and business processes
- Experience working within enterprise-scale delivery programmes
