We are looking for a Product Manager to own the Employee Benefits Insurance platform, with a strong focus on Group Insurance products (Group Health, Group Life, Group Accident, and Flexible Benefit Plans). This role is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for HR admins and employees at client organizations — from enrollment through claims to renewal — and works closely with the Associate Product Manager, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams (Claims, Operations, Sales) to deliver a best-in-class benefits experience. Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

Own the product roadmap and backlog for the Employee Benefits platform, with Group Insurance as the core focus area

Define and prioritize features across the full employee benefits lifecycle: enrollment, dependent/life-event endorsements, benefits utilization, claims, and annual renewals

Translate business and client (HR/employer) requirements into clear, well-scoped product requirements and user stories

Own the product for both end users — employees (self-service enrollment, claims tracking, digital ID cards, policy documents) and HR admins (census management, bulk endorsements, reporting, employee query resolution)

Discovery & Requirements

Conduct user research and requirement-gathering with HR admins, employees, and internal broking/operations teams to identify pain points and opportunities

Build a working understanding of Group Insurance product structures (sum insured, family floaters, riders, waiting periods, portability, flexible benefit design) to make informed product decisions

Validate concepts and specs with stakeholders before development, ensuring alignment with insurer capabilities and regulatory requirements

Execution & Delivery





Write clear PRDs/specs and work with Engineering to deliver features on time and to quality bar

Partner with Design on employee- and HR-facing UX to ensure the platform is simple and intuitive for non-technical users

Coordinate UAT, launch readiness, and go-live activities for new features and client onboarding

Manage and mentor the Associate Product Manager on the employee benefits module

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work with Claims and Operations teams to ensure the platform supports fast, transparent claims intimation and tracking for employee benefits claims

Work with Sales/Client Success to understand employer/HR client needs and incoming requirements from recent client onboarding

Coordinate with Quote Management and Policy Administration product owners where employee benefits touches shared systems

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

Define and track KPIs for the employee benefits module: enrollment completion rate, HR self-serve %, claims turnaround time, platform adoption, and HR/employee satisfaction (NPS/CSAT)

Use data and user feedback to continuously improve the enrollment, endorsement, and claims experience Requirements

4-7 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in Insurance, InsurTech, Employee Benefits, or BFSI

Working knowledge of Group Insurance products (Group Health, Group Life, Group Personal Accident, Flexible Benefit Plans) strongly preferred

Experience building or managing platforms serving multiple user types (e.g., B2B2C — internal ops, employer/HR client, end employee)

Strong requirement-gathering and stakeholder management skills — comfortable working with HR/employer clients, insurers, and internal ops/claims teams

Ability to write clear PRDs and work closely with Engineering and Design through the full build cycle

Comfortable defining and tracking KPIs, and using data to guide prioritization

Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Prior experience mentoring or working alongside an Associate PM is a plus
