Role Description The Product Development & Sourcing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for leading the end-to-end development of children’s programs and related products, from concept generation and design through testing and refinement. The role includes identifying and evaluating vendors and suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials that meet quality and safety standards.

The manager will collaborate with program designers, educators, and operations teams to align products with the organization’s mission and child development goals. Daily activities include managing product timelines, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, monitoring inventory and supply chain performance,



and continuously improving product offerings based on feedback and market trends. Qualifications

Experience in product development, including concept creation, prototyping, testing, and market launch.

Skills in vendor management and sourcing, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.

Robust project management abilities, such as planning, prioritization, timeline tracking, and cross-functional coordination.

Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance, especially for children’s products, including safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Background in education, child development, or related fields is highly beneficial to align products with holistic growth goals.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions on product and sourcing strategies.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively across diverse teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Supply Chain, Business, Education, or a related discipline; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.

Prior experience in the children’s products, educational programs, or toy industry is a plus.
