Employment Type: Full‑time About the Role We are a growing startup in the manufacturing sector seeking a Product Design & Manufacturing Engineer with strong end‑to‑end product development capabilities—from concept creation to production handover. The ideal candidate will be skilled in CAD modelling, engineering validation, prototyping, manufacturing coordination, and quality inspection.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building products from scratch, working closely with cross‑functional teams, and contributing to the foundation of a modern manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities 1.

Product

Design & Development

Develop product concepts and convert them into detailed 3D CAD models.

Perform DFM, DFA, and DOE to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Create engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation for production.

Conduct design reviews and propose improvements based on performance and cost.

Support prototyping activities and validate functional requirements. 2.

Manufacturing

Coordination

Work closely with suppliers, toolmakers, and production teams.

Follow up on manufacturing progress and resolve technical issues.

Ensure smooth transition from design to production, including tooling and process setup.

Conduct stage‑wise inspections during manufacturing to ensure compliance.





- Quality & Inspection

Inspect prototypes and production parts for dimensional and functional accuracy.

Carry out stage inspections and final quality checks.

Identify defects, root causes, and corrective actions.

Maintain quality documentation and ensure adherence to standards. 4.

Software

Skills

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory).

Working knowledge of Ansys, Catia, and Creo (preferred).

Ability to run simulations, tolerance analysis, and basic FEA.

Required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in product design and manufacturing.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, plastics, sheet metal, etc.).

Hands‑on experience with prototyping and production follow‑up.

Positive communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
