Role Description The Procurement: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (CDMO, Regulated Market) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, packaging materials, and services required for pharmaceutical manufacturing in regulated markets. Daily tasks include raising and tracking purchase orders, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, and negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective and timely supply.

The role also requires close coordination with production, quality, regulatory, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines and compliance needs. The skilled in this role monitors vendor performance,



maintains accurate procurement records, supports audits, and continuously seeks opportunities to optimize the supply base and reduce risk.

Qualifications

Strong procurement and purchase order management skills, with the ability to handle Procurement and Purchase Orders efficiently.

Experience in Supplier Evaluation, including assessing quality, reliability, delivery performance, and compliance with regulated market requirements.

Proficiency in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels while mitigating supply and compliance risks.

Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, compare offers, forecast needs, and support evidence-based procurement decisions.

Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or CDMO environment, preferably dealing with regulated markets.

Knowledge of GMP, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards related to procurement and vendor management.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage vendor relationships professionally.

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.

Comfort with ERP or procurement systems and MS Office tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
