Role Description The Procurement Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Haridwar. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for solar and related components, including identifying vendors, soliciting quotations, and evaluating suppliers for quality, price, and reliability.

The Procurement

Manager will oversee contract negotiation and contract management, ensure timely availability of materials, and optimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with production, logistics, and finance teams, maintaining procurement records, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting compliance with company policies and industry regulations.



The role also involves developing procurement strategies, managing risk in the supply chain, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, with experience in sourcing, vendor assessment, and supplier development.
- Candidates should possess expertise in contract negotiation and contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and administering procurement agreements.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate cost structures, and make evidence-based purchasing decisions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using procurement or ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other tools for tracking orders, budgets, and inventories.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing or renewable energy industries, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work with strict timelines, manage multiple priorities, adhere to ethical procurement practices, and maintain accurate documentation.
