Defence Retired Veteran Required – Hyderabad [Hiring for a client]

We are looking for a Defence Retired Veteran for a leading client in the furniture and interiors space, specialising in modular and movable furniture, manufacturing and supply-chain operations, based in Hyderabad.

Defence Retired Veteran, Immediate / quick joiner, Self-starter with a logical and practical approach, Solid leadership and people-management skills with Good administrative and operational capabilities are preferred.

Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Role Summary The Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring timely procurement of all furniture components, hardware, accessories, appliances, lighting, décor items, and outsourced manufacturing orders required for customer projects. The role bridges Design, Sales, Manufacturing Partners, Logistics, and Installation Teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Premio Living's quality standards.

This position requires strong commercial negotiation skills, supplier management experience, excellent project coordination abilities, and a deep understanding of modular furniture procurement.

Key Responsibilities Review approved BOQs and prepare purchase orders. Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.



Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance.

Track orders from purchase to site delivery, ensuring projects remain on schedule. Coordinate with Design, Project Management, Accounts, and Installation teams. Resolve procurement-related issues, delays, and quality concerns.

Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and project procurement reports. Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 5–8 years of procurement experience in modular furniture, interiors, construction, or fit-out projects. Strong negotiation, planning, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Experience with furniture manufacturing is an advantage.
