Job Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the procurement of findings, packaging materials, consumables, and other manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure uninterrupted production while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers to achieve the best commercial terms.
- Monitor market trends, and supplier pricing to make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, CAD, Design, Stores, and Finance teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Manage the complete purchase cycle, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor negotiations, follow-ups, and timely deliveries.
- Ensure accurate documentation, invoice verification, purchase records, and ERP updates.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Stores to maintain optimum stock without affecting production.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service,



and implement continuous vendor development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory requirements, and internal audit procedures.
- Lead the purchase team, allocate responsibilities, and drive process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Must be qualified from Mechanical background or Mechanical work experience.
- Robust knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, findings and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation, sourcing, and commercial decision-making skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, procurement strategies, and supply chain management.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet production deadlines, and manage multiple vendors effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
