Cent Health is a new health tech startup. We catch life-threatening diseases before a single symptom shows up. We do full-body scans and have the best machines and protocols in all of India. The product is built. The goal now is to move India from reacting to disease to catching it first, and save lives.

We're creating a category that doesn't exist here yet, in one of the fastest-growing spaces in the world. In the last six months we have moved with break neck speed: centres in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, scaling to 20 by year-end, closing in on 10,000 scans soon. Joining the team means you will be early and actually building the brand rather than just maintaining or amplifying it.

We are looking for a strategic and editorially-savvy 'thinker-writer' who can help build our brand by creating original and defining pieces for the Indian consumer.

Your role is a combination of a journalist and an editor/ copywriter for new-age media .

This role would push your craft in a variety of ways

, from deep research, thesis building, ad campaigns and films, social media, developing marketing materials, crafting case studies, to writing high-value thought leadership pieces.

Here’s the real meaty part of the role:



creating awareness and education that levels up how Indians care for their health.

This is less "here's an offer/ see what we do" and more of "here's why this matters". The goal is to change the way Indians approach preventative health care and make it default behaviour over time.

- Both the ability to write an intellectual health thesis for the industry; and then turn it into something people feel and share. Skill of making dry, important, "boring" information land through story and analogy.
- High taste, judgment; someone who has a sharp point of view on things and can defend it.
- Deep feel for how content and recent-age media actually work, and the pulse of aspirational and affluent India
- Right brain first - instinct, craft - but able to hold your own on strategy
- Obsessed with the craft; smart, self-starting, doesn't wait for a brief
- Solid proof of work: things you made that actually shipped, moved numbers, or got talked about

The process (the bar is high)

- Complete a short assignment that tests your creativity, taste and strategic judgment (post the shortlist)
- References from people who have worked with you before are a must (we will ask for this when you clear the first or second interview round)
