We're looking for a Robotics Software Lead who will help define that future.

Working directly with the technology leader, you will own the software vision, architecture and execution that powers every Alphadroid robot from perception and navigation to fleet intelligence and cloud connectivity.

Your Mission

Design and build a scalable robotics software platform that enables autonomous robots to perceive, think, navigate and operate intelligently across diverse indoor and outdoor environments.

What You'll Own

Robotics Software Strategy

- Define the long-term robotics software roadmap aligned with Alphadroid's product vision.
- Build a scalable, modular and reusable autonomy platform across all robot products.
- Drive technical architecture, engineering standards and software quality.

Autonomous Navigation Own the complete autonomy stack including:

- Mapping & SLAM
- Localization
- Path Planning & Motion Planning
- Navigation & Controls
- Sensor Fusion
- Dynamic Obstacle Avoidance
- Mission Planning
- Multi-Robot Coordination
- Fleet Intelligence

Perception & AI Develop intelligent perception capabilities using LiDAR, cameras and edge AI to enable:

- Human & Object Detection
- Scene Understanding
- Semantic Mapping
- Vision-based Navigation
- Intelligent Decision Making





Robotics Platform Build a robust software foundation including:

- ROS2-based architecture
- Simulation & Digital Twin
- Cloud Robotics
- OTA Updates
- Diagnostics & Telemetry
- APIs & Developer Tools
- Cybersecurity & Functional Safety

Engineering Leadership

- Build and mentor a high-performing robotics software team.
- Lead technical reviews, architecture decisions and engineering execution.
- Work closely with Mechanical, Electronics, Embedded and AI teams to deliver production-ready robots.

What We're Looking For

Technical Expertise

- Strong experience with ROS/ROS2, C++, Python and Linux.
- Deep understanding of autonomous mobile robots and robotics software architecture.
- Hands-on experience with navigation, localization, perception, sensor fusion and motion planning.
- Experience integrating LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS and other robotic sensors.
- Familiarity with simulation tools, computer vision and AI frameworks.

Experience

- 8–15 years in robotics software engineering.
- Proven experience developing commercial AMRs or autonomous robotic systems.
- Experience taking robotics products from concept to field deployment.
- Solid technical leadership with the ability to build and scale engineering teams.

Success in This Role Within the first 12–18 months, you will:
