Role Description This is a full-time, in office President role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The President will provide strategic leadership across all business units, drive growth initiatives, and ensure operational excellence in steel manufacturing and distribution. Daily responsibilities include overseeing production, supply chain, and sales performance, guiding senior management, and aligning organizational priorities with long-term business goals.

The role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies, to maintain product quality, safety standards, and market competitiveness.



The President will also lead business planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to support sustainable expansion.

Qualifications

Strategic leadership and general management skills, including long-term planning, organizational governance, and stakeholder management.

Operations and manufacturing management expertise, preferably in steel or heavy industry, covering production efficiency, quality control, and supply chain optimization.

Business development and commercial acumen, with experience in sales strategy, market expansion, and customer relationship management.

Financial management skills, including budgeting, performance monitoring, and decision-making based on key financial metrics.

Strong people management capabilities, with a track record of leading senior teams, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the organization with clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.

Proven experience in a senior executive role within manufacturing, infrastructure, or related sectors; prior experience in steel is highly desirable.

Relevant advanced degree such as an MBA, or engineering degree in metallurgy, mechanical, or related fields; equivalent leadership experience may be considered.
