Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 7+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in Power BI, SQL, DAX, data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating data from multiple sources to deliver insightful dashboards and reports for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Develop complex data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
- Connect Power BI with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and other enterprise data sources.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance best practices.
- Optimize report performance using efficient DAX, aggregations, and data modeling techniques.
- Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service.
- Configure workspaces, gateways, scheduled refreshes, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and convert them into BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot report performance issues and resolve data discrepancies.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.




- Prepare technical documentation and provide production support.

Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Excellent knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), and Data Modeling.
- Strong SQL programming skills (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Experience with ETL tools and data transformation techniques.
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Power BI Gateway, Report Server, and scheduled refresh.
- Good understanding of Azure Data Services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based data sources.
- Hands-on experience with Excel, CSV, SharePoint, and enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployment.
- Familiarity with Python or R for analytics.
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse.
- Understanding of AI-powered analytics and Copilot in Power BI.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300) is preferred.

Good to Have
- Experience in Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, or Banking domains.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with global teams.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
