About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated PM4 Rewinder Operator to operate and monitor the rewinder machine, ensuring secure, efficient, and quality-focused rewinding operations. The role involves producing customer-ready reels by maintaining machine performance, minimizing waste, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the PM4 rewinder machine as per standard operating procedures.

- Set and adjust rewinder parameters based on paper grade, reel size, and customer specifications.

- Ensure finished reels meet quality standards for winding, width, appearance, and packaging.

- Monitor slitting operations, knife settings, and width accuracy to minimize defects.

- Maintain proper web tension and reel hardness to prevent wrinkles, web breaks, and winding defects.





- Continuously monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities to the Shift Head or Maintenance team.

- Perform routine machine inspections and support preventive maintenance activities.

- Minimize broke generation, reel defects, and material losses during operations.

- Ensure accurate production records and shift documentation.

- Follow all safety procedures, LOTO, TPM, 6S, and housekeeping standards.

- Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in rewinder machine operations.

- Knowledge of reel winding principles and reel quality requirements.

- Understanding of slitting systems and width control.

- Knowledge of web handling and tension control.

- Familiarity with ABB drives, machine controls, and HMI operations.

- Knowledge of TPM, 5S/6S, safety practices, and preventive maintenance.

- Ability to work in rotational shifts and under production targets.
