Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Playwright Automation QA professional. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and cross-browser coverage.

Responsibilities include collaborating with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

The Playwright

Automation QA will execute test suites, analyze results, identify defects,



and document issues clearly for timely resolution. The role also includes creating and maintaining test documentation, improving test frameworks and processes, and contributing to overall quality engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust skills in Playwright, automated test script development, and test framework design.

Candidates should possess skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages used for test automation.

Candidates should possess skills in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications.

Candidates should possess skills in CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms).

Candidates should possess skills in test case design, defect tracking, and QA documentation using standard tools.

Candidates should possess skills in analyzing application logs, debugging failures, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues.

Experience with modern web technologies, browser developer tools, and cross-browser testing is beneficial.

Experience with performance or security testing, or working within agile/Scrum environments, is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
