Role Overview :

As a Platform Engineer based in Dubai, you will serve as the backbone of our cloud infrastructure, architecting scalable and resilient environments that empower our engineering teams to ship high-quality software at velocity. You will work closely with cross-functional product squads, security architects, and data engineers to bridge the gap between development and operations. By designing robust CI/CD pipelines and optimizing our multi-cloud footprint, you will directly influence the reliability of our services, ensuring a seamless experience for our global user base while driving operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters to ensure consistent application performance and seamless service orchestration for our microservices architecture.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation to reduce manual overhead and improve setting reproducibility.
- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD workflows that enable developers to deploy code with confidence, significantly reducing time-to-market for new features.
- Lead complex system design initiatives to optimize cloud resource utilization across AWS and Azure, balancing cost-efficiency with high-performance requirements.
- Develop custom automation scripts in Python to streamline operational tasks, monitor system health,



and integrate disparate cloud services into a unified platform.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce best practices in cloud governance, ensuring our infrastructure remains secure and audit-ready at all times.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale Kubernetes environments and deep proficiency in cloud-native architecture within AWS and Azure ecosystems.
- Advanced capability in writing clean, maintainable Python code to automate infrastructure management and build internal tooling for platform services.
- Proven track record of implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation, with a focus on modularity and scalability.
- Strong analytical mindset for system design, capable of translating complex business requirements into resilient, fault-tolerant technical solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior engineers in DevOps best practices.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Dubai, collaborating effectively with diverse, international teams.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 5-10 years of hands-on experience in platform engineering or site reliability roles.
