Responsibilities

- Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations at the plant.

- Plan and coordinate vehicle placement, loading, unloading, and dispatch activities.

- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer and business requirements.

- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Purchase, and Transporters for smooth material movement.

- Monitor daily vehicle availability, vehicle turnaround time, loading time, and dispatch schedules.

- Manage and monitor transporters, drivers, and logistics vendors.

- Ensure optimum vehicle utilization and minimize detention, freight, and logistics costs.

- Track and resolve issues related to vehicle delays, shortages, damages, documentation, and delivery.

- Ensure proper documentation including e-way bills, invoices, delivery challans, LR/GRN, and dispatch documents.

- Monitor stock movement and ensure system and physical inventory reconciliation.
