Position Title: Planning Manager

Role Overview

Planning Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning, scheduling, and resource management for a large-scale university campus development project. The role involves ensuring timely project delivery, effective cost control, and seamless coordination among multiple internal and external stakeholders across all phases of execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and control baseline and revised project schedules; monitor progress and performance against approved baselines.
- Plan, estimate, and monitor resource requirements including manpower, materials, and construction equipment.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, contracts, and execution teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Identify schedule deviations, conduct delay analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain planning records including progress reports, meeting minutes, delay analysis reports, and schedule revisions with required approvals.
- Support project cost control initiatives, budgeting,



and contract administration activities.
- Ensure adherence to project safety, quality, and statutory compliance standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM tools for planning and layout coordination.
- Sound understanding of project cost control, budgeting, claims, and contract management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder project environment.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (B.E./B.Tech).
- 8-12 years of experience in planning roles for large-scale infrastructure, institutional, or campus development projects.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or PSP will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to be based in office at the university campus in Godhavi, Ahmedabad
- Comfortable working with ERP systems, digital dashboards, and modern project reporting tools.
