Recent Student- Create An Account Returning Student- Log In The Phlebotomy Technician I program prepares graduates for entry-level positions as phlebotomists in hospitals, clinics, Laboratory Service Centers and physician’s offices.
Our Laboratory Field
Services/Department of Health Services approved Certified Phlebotomy Technician I programs include 48 hours of lecture and 40 hours of practical experience at nearby externship sites for students with no work experience or “Advanced” 48 hours of lecture for students with phlebotomy experience. Upon successful completion of the program, our students will have met all of California State’s requirements to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, including the completion of an approved national online examination. Duration 12 Weeks Class Schedule Tuesday, 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM Cost $2,250 $1,050 deposit is due before the first day of class.

Orientation and Placement Testing Externship Externships begin approximately 3 – 8 weeks after the didactic training has been completed AND students have passed the National Exam. Clinical externships are scheduled during regular weekday hours (usually Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM). Students must complete 40 externship hours and 60 draws.
