Job Summary MaxPetz Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage the dispensing and inventory of veterinary medicines and consumables. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a hospital pharmacy, possess strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, and be committed to ensuring accurate medication dispensing while maintaining regulatory compliance. A pet-friendly attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medications accurately based on veterinary prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, formulation, and completeness before dispensing.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines, vaccines, and veterinary consumables.
- Monitor inventory levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions of pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure proper storage of temperature-sensitive medications and vaccines.
- Maintain pharmacy records, stock registers, and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols.




- Coordinate with veterinarians and clinical staff regarding medication availability and requirements.
- Assist in procurement and inventory planning to avoid stock shortages.
- Educate pet owners on medication administration, dosage, storage, and precautions as directed by the prescribing veterinarian.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and infection control practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm with relevant registration.
- 2–3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management and dispensing practices.
- Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software and documentation is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts.
- Pet-friendly attitude is mandatory.
